Molloy Seymour McLoughlin Solicitors has provided
legal services to businesses in Galway for nearly twenty years.
The firm is geared towards providing a “one stop shop”
for small and medium enterprises. Our target market is the
business community in the West of Ireland who traditionally
would have looked to Dublin for commercial legal services.
Susan McLoughlin Partner of Molloy Seymour McLoughlin
Solicitors says “Thankfully this traditional preference
for Dublin based legal services has been successfully challenged
by numerous Galway based law firms who have developed commercial
& corporate departments with a huge wealth of experience
and expertise”
Of course in these uncertain economic times,
the demand for firms competent in insolvency and corporate
legal services is very high. Many companies now need expert
advice as to how to re-structure their business to adapt to
the changed economic climate. Moreover the high tech and the
bio medical industries have flourished in Galway bringing
with it the demand for experts in the law relating to patents
and other areas of intellectual property.
Since the beginning of 2010, we have been rolling
out our specialised legal services for liquidators providing
advice and support in respect of Section 150 litigation, debt
recovery and sale of assets. Liquidators require a specialised
service because of their onerous duties to dispose of all
company assets quickly and yet the funds available to the
liquidator are usually limited so they demand value for money
when it comes to legal services. This has proved to be enormously
successful and we look forward to developing that service
further as our clients’ needs change.
